This game was programmed to run on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). To run it on another device, you need a type of program called an "emulator". An emulator is a program that simulates the hardware of another platform. An NES emulator for PC will allow you to run games designed for NES on your computer. What follows are ways to download the emulator "Nestopia". If you would like to run this game on another device than listed, try to find an NES emulator for that device.

Windows:
	Download Nestopia from here: http://nestopia.sourceforge.net/downloads.html
(You want the "Nestopia v1.40 Binary" under "Windows". The number after the "v" may be different.)

Mac OS:
	Download Nestopia from here: http://www.bannister.org/software/nestopia.htm

Linux:
Search for and install Nestopia in your package manager.

Nestopia Setup For Windows:
Note: These instructions may differ slightly if a newer version of Nestopia is released.

1. Plug in any USB controllers you want to use before opening Nestopia. (If you want to use keyboard, skip this step.)

2. Open Nestopia.

3. Drag the ROM file ("Indivisible.nes") onto the Nestopia window.

4. To change the controls, click "Options", then click "Input".

5. Click "Pad 1" under "Type" on the newly opened "Input Options" window.

6. If you would like to use a USB controller, select it from the pulldown menu under "Joysticks".

7. Click "Set All" underneath "Mapping" and press the key or button you would like to assign to each NES button in order from top to bottom. Check the "Readme.txt" in the package that came with Indivisible to see which NES buttons correspond to which actions within the game. Indivisible does not use "Mic".
Example: After clicking "Set All", I press "Left Arrow" on my keyboard for "Left", then press "Right Arrow" for "Right", then press "Up Arrow" for "Up", then press "Down Arrow" for "Down" etc.

After you press something, you should immediately see what you pressed appear under "Mapping" in the correct row.

To set a button individually, double click the field under "Mapping" that is on the same row as the button you want to change under "Key", then press the key/button you want.

8. Click OK in the bottom right of the "Input Options" window.

By pressing the keys/buttons you set, you may now begin playing the game.

Once your controls are set up, you need only drag the ROM file ("Indivisible.nes") onto the Nestopia window again to start playing in the future. Your controls are remembered.
